This would be 5 stars if you were told up front that it was going to cost $1.99. This didnt say anywhere that it would record your screen playing a game so the people leaving poor reviews for that reason are giving the app a bad overall rating. It uses your camera. You need to pay the $1.99 to get the black screen when you are recording. Follow the directions. Change to camera or video depending on what it is you are capturing. Double tap to turn screen dark (does show a small number towards the top of the screen-see tips) and then back to camera screen. Single tap to begin recording/take picture. Single tap to end recording (or take another picture). Took a couple of practice times to get comfortable with it so I wouldnt screw it up when the time came. Tips: turn screen brightness all the way down to its lowest setting and you will not notice the small number without straining your eyes and pulling the phone within inches of your face. It doesnt appear to have a time limit to the file size. Whatever storage capacity your phone has.
