This would be 5 stars if you were told up front that it was going to cost $1.99. This didnt say anywhere that it would record your screen playing a game so the people leaving poor reviews for that reason are giving the app a bad overall rating. It uses your camera. You need to pay the $1.99 to get the black screen when you are recording. Follow the directions. Change to camera or video depending on what it is you are capturing. Double tap to turn screen dark (does show a small number towards the top of the screen-see tips) and then back to camera screen. Single tap to begin recording/take picture. Single tap to end recording (or take another picture). Took a couple of practice times to get comfortable with it so I wouldnt screw it up when the time came. Tips: turn screen brightness all the way down to its lowest setting and you will not notice the small number without straining your eyes and pulling the phone within inches of your face. It doesnt appear to have a time limit to the file size. Whatever storage capacity your phone has.
Secret camera works great for me. Yeah it cost $2 to access the black screen feature. But I knew that going in from the other reviews. You do have to dim your screen in order to not have the small number show up in one corner. I also turned down my sound so the shutter click would not be heard.
Ive had this app for long time. Its worth 1.99 but I think it needs an update. Should add slo-mo option to get up to times with iPhone 6
I give you four stars!
But please fix that the camera slightly zoomed like x1.2 when I choose quality HIGH. I hope you already noticed this bug and started fixing it.
Some bad moments
They say you can record videos in black for free but you actually have to pay for the pro version to record videos
U guys need to get this fix cuz dose not do what it says and I paid the money for nothing so I wanna dispute ,,, u guys need to pay me my money back I dont want that app at all 0 stars !!!!!
Not enraging, but you have to pay if you want to do anything. Very annoying dont waist your time with this app unless youve got loads of cash to drop on next to nothing

Just basically a stupid app. exactly like a camera. But it tries to spam you to get the recording feature for $ :( :( :( :(
The video camera isnt working for iOS 7 on iphone 5. It crashes every time I open it.
